TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #4 NM (2ND COPY)

Hello fellow collectors. I’m really tough on grading my own books. Purchased TMNT #4 approx release date from Anchorage AK comic CB store BOSCOS. Immediately placed into sleeve, never read, never opened till yesterday. It’s like I just purchased it. 9.8 NM Easy if I ever saw one! Have full front, back, 4 corners front/back and large set of internal pages photographed today (which is on eBay and I have imported that auction listing into PriceGuide.com).

TG as my #2’s and #3’s had issues and likely will get those graded for FMV. I’m using kind of a combo between PriceGuide.com and GoCollect.com for my 1st round back into the market as an individual collector. I am enjoying both sites for day 2 on both.Like both sites. I saw several of you were seeking #4 so I’m listing my duplicate copy listing it here instead of my Etsy store opening by weekend’s end. The books are identical in condition 9.8.

Appreciate hearing from any owners of issues 2–4 and Raphael’s 1-shot. I ended up with a #3 and 1 of the 1-shots in great condition (not as good as these #4s). I can not believe that Texas *still has the Monopoly on grading comic books (I need to get into that business total BS they have it monopolized and dictate what a seller can get for top $). As well see Wizard fell as the leading/controlling guide with its deals & toys, well shit some time ago LOL. Look forward to hob nobbing with anyone that wants. I have 1,000’s of BRONZE age to dig through yet but have other launches going on — I just knew these would be the big money in my collection for first dibs.

I’m not aware of any tools to provide me such insight directly through PriceGuide nor have I crossed over such tools in Etsy yet.

And YES I Launched the Etsy store late this morning following my certified phlebotomist draw visit (which reminds me my YELP review is already drafted bbim)…

I had to set aside pursuit of the SBA for further direction in government certified subcontracting I mentioned in a prior story. Good News I finally got a reset code on my Arizona Job Connection account! This AZ job site I swear gets first at bat with local fortune 500 company positions available (so check them out if your in the market). Don’t hold me to it; the reason my intuition tells me this is I can usually find something interesting in the first couple job listing return results with simple criterion (whereas I can skim Linkedin, Monster, Indeed and others for a couple hours and not get as good a hit).

*In submitting my employment application to open a grading hub in AZ I saw hiring is for FL & they are providing a $2,500 sign-on bonus for new employees who start by June 30, 2021 (my oversight in recalling they were located in TX, I had been out of the Comic Market since 94 or so).

Ha ha ha MF’s. Good to see you still thriving. Was there every weekend buying up comics TMNT obviously the huge ones in this moment (and spent what was left over at the arcade that was next to you back in your first year of business).

Curious regarding the TMNT paper products.

I have multiple issues with what appears to be a staple remover that got hungry for the bottom pages on several key issues: #2 and #3 1st prints. Common for the run that you are aware of? Very curious — before I start asking other professionals figured I’d come straight to the source!

My #4’s turned out to be dual NM’s 9.8 (IMO). Listed on ebay today and the 2nd copy on PriceGuide.com after importing the ebay listing as they had about 30 members interested in # at CPG.
